Pencil Portraits

We have started doing a pencil portrait. Mr Marqaund took a photo of us and, using the computer, deleted half of our face. We have to draw that half. First, we practiced the eye, because if the eye looks good the whole thing looks good. Mr Marqaund has taught us to have contrast in our drawing. This means having parts that are really dark as well as parts that light. We measured our face using a ruler so we had the proportions.

I found this quite hard it may be the fact I'm not that good at art. I think that my nose and hair will be the hardest.
